Today i "dated" with Eugene.
We met at 油麻地(YOU MA TEI) station(which he is so familiar with i suppose since his hotel is there);he wore a black cap and long sleeve shirt.We then set out to the places i thought of bringing him to.
First,we set off to 太子(Prince Edward),where we visit the Mizuno softball shop.Eugene was like"Wa!Very nice eh!"(True,true)We also tasted the 臭豆腐(smelly tofu)and strolled down the street which is full of shops that sell different kind of fishes and turtles.When we decided to return to the MRT station,we bought 鸡蛋仔(Waffle made of egg).Eugene commented that the smelly tofu's sauce was great which is true(sour and spicy...nice!)
Then,we headed down to 深水埗(SHEN SHUI PO)where it is well known in Hong Kong that all the cheap electronics,regardless of phone,phone covers,or ipad covers etc,are all there.Other then walking there,we bought a very spicy fishball,which Eugene and I descibed as us "dancing" while we are eating,and also fried chest nuts which Eugene has difficulty opening.We also bought chicken liver(if I have not mistaken)and octopus,both with Eugene's new found favourite,Mustard.For,some unknown reason,we realised that the mustard we ate seems to be more spicy than the mustard in Singapore and it is more tasty.(Yum!)Eugene then treated me pearl milk tea which he ordered himself.I was rather surprised that he spoke those words with such accuracy(Thumbs up!)
Finally,we traveled to 旺角(MONG KOK)'s 女人街(Ladies Market) where we strolled,again(mind you,ever since we started to walk from our meeting point,we DID NOT stop)After the long stroll,we bought beef ball,which Eugene dipped it in mustard and finally,sitting down.We then decided to leave and I accompany Eugene back to his hotel with some difficulty(checking maps)We met his parents conincidatally in the hotel and finally I traveled back home.
His dad mentioned that he may allow Eugene to travel to Hong Kong single,which i am happy enough to invite him to sleep in my house if he wants to.
To end off,it was a fantastic day since he is the first guy I travel with over seas.
